About GO2EX

Meet the Team

GO2EX is a Christian company, founded in 2015 by Engga Mickens and her spouse, Kerry Mickens. The company's mission is to provide minority Owner-Operators with financing that will help them better operate their businesses. In 2018, Mickens and her spouse were led to evolve by helping other minority owner-operators find loads to transport goods throughout the U.S.

 

As minority Owner-Operators, they've faced challenges typical of the logistics industry. This includes the inability to obtain dedicated lanes, the inability to secure standard pricing, and dealing with drivers’ lack of access to consistent compliance standards. For Engga, a degreed Administrator, the office work was manageable. However, 'round-the-clock bidding and answering dispatch calls all throughout the night quickly became exhausting. After consistently receiving lower bids and facing other unforeseen circumstances, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, they prayed and restructured the company.

Moving Forward with Hope

In 2021, they rebranded as GO2EX, as led and deemed by the Lord. The company is dedicated to advocating for economic inclusion for minority owner-operators to establish an ‘exodus’ from relying on bids to make a living for themselves and their families. GO2EX collaborates with others for state and government contracts and builds relationships with Brokers, Carriers, and Shippers with shared values in closing the economic gap within the trucking industry. These partnerships provide dedicated lanes to replace bidding night and day for loads, standard pricing that replaces lowball bids for loads, and up-to-date compliance standards to increase operational efficiency. Our goal is to ensure that all parties have a seat at the table.
